ByteKit PH is a sales and inventory tracking application for Android. This policy explains how your information is handled.
📦 Your Business Data: All data you enter — products, sales, customers, expenses — is stored locally on your device by default. It's only ever sent elsewhere if you choose to turn on Google Drive Backup or LAN Sync between your own devices.
🔗 Google Drive Backup (optional): If you sign in and enable it, ByteKit backs up your data directly to a folder in your own Google Drive, using Google's most restrictive Drive scope (it can only see files it creates itself — nothing else in your Drive). ByteKit PH never receives or stores this data on any server of ours.
🌐 Internet Access: Otherwise, the App uses internet only for license verification — to activate your access code and confirm it is valid. This communicates only with a private, secure repository. No personal or business data is transmitted for this. The App works fully offline day-to-day.
📷 Camera: Used only for barcode scanning and product photos. Never used in the background. No images are uploaded to any server.
📱 Device ID: Your device's anonymous Android ID is used only to bind your license to your device. It is not linked to your name, Google account, or any personal information.
👶 Children's Privacy: The App is intended for adults operating small businesses. It is not directed at children under 13.
